walking outside in the rain and the snow
I don’t understand your life
so I guess I must be slow
but if I was slow, then how would I know
put a quarter in my mouth
wind me up and watch me go
take a little time to watch the clock hands fly
and you wonder where I am
and to who I’m telling lies
well I’m outside in the rain and the snow
you can’t understand my mind
but it’s not for you to know
I’m on top of the world
who put me here
I wanna go back home
have I made myself clear
I remember looking at the stars in the sky
and connecting all the dots
laying on the grass at night
counting to a million for the very first time
when I got half way
I couldn’t finish the line
I’m on top of the world
don’t leave me here
I wanna go back home
have I made myself clear
suppress and get depressed, I’m in my favourite dress
we get together every Sunday and add mountains to the mess
you’re a good friend, I will not give you away
I will not give you away

What a great album. It took me a while to really get the whole album but I can confidently say it's one of her best. The shorter songs are certainly a different feel, but I still like it. I could pick like five different songs as my favorite and all of them would feel right lol praisedrays
