dancing in the bar, dancing in the street
running with the headlights, clenching all my teeth
gotta settle down, not sure if I can
hadn’t thought of leaving and I didn’t have a plan
well I’ve never felt this light, my head feels like a star
it burns behind my eyeballs, it’s lighting up the dark
I used to feel like twenty dollars rolled up in a cab
I knew I was worth something but the future made me sad
all the times I’ve dreamed
to wake up with nothing
you’re the sweetest dream
‘cause I don’t have to sleep
we’ll always be dancing, I’ll make sure of that
and running with the headlights, trying to catch a cab
sleeping through the mornings, playing in the stars
yelling things at strangers
look how lucky we are
look how lucky we are
all the times I’ve dreamed
to wake up with nothing
you’re the sweetest dream
‘cause I don’t have to sleep
all the times I’ve dreamed
to wake up with nothing
you’re the sweetest dream

What a great album. It took me a while to really get the whole album but I can confidently say it's one of her best. The shorter songs are certainly a different feel, but I still like it. I could pick like five different songs as my favorite and all of them would feel right lol praisedrays
